these are top trump cards showing my skill set in media
/ production skills
before and after this year. as you can see, i have learned many things that are beneficial for me now and in the future.
Lionview productions - nehru house camp 2018 19/9/18
As a member of the Lionview Production team in Harrow Bangkok, I had a chance to edit the 2018 Nehru House Camp's video. I learnt to put footages together and produced this video even though we did not have many footages from the camp.
Lionview productions - prefect haunted house 2018 30/10/18
As a member of the Sixth Form Media Committee in my school, I have had a chance to help film the annual Prefect's Haunted House, and learned to film under limited conditions such as the very low light, fast-moving subjects and low focus.
Art - composition 18/2/19
For my As Art Coursework, I have done a variety of artwork, including paintings, sketches and a lino print, this has helped me in creating the composition in each frames in our film, and helped me in the development of ideas creating the film. I have also added my works from life drawing classes, it has helped me with my composition and proportion, and working with people.
illustrations - 20/2/19
During free time, I would do these drawings on top of the images I have in my phone with the app Picsart, it is a very useful app with a wide range of tools to choose from. For the illustrations that are not on photos, I drew them with the app ibisPaint X, it allows me to create layers and create drawings that I would have to make with a computer software or a graphics tablet.
makeup videos 26/2/19
Occasionally, I would film a time lapse video of myself getting ready/applying makeup on my phone, then edit it slightly through apps such as Vlogr or Inshot. The process of making these videos are really fun, I don't have to worry about cinematography, editing or sound, I just do it how I like it to be. This has helped me to gain experiences filming and editing a number of videos, even though they're not that long. The video I spent most time and effort at is the third video with a red border, as I have added subtitles to the video instead of only adding the titles and background music like how I did the other ones.

dance videos - 5/3/19
When I dance, I would occasionally film myself dancing to different choreographies. Then, I would use applications like Vlogr and InShot to add backgrounds / song titles to the video. I would normally post the edited videos onto Instagram and Instagram story, showing them to my friends / followers. As I film and edit these for fun, I don't have to worry about the components or cinematography, as I don't see them as a problem in my videos, whilst if I film and edit a video to be used in serious matters such as my coursework, I would have to be considerate of what I present in each shot and scene of the piece.
